The seven-seat crossover segment is full of upscale and spacious models, but we imagine few will have the appeal of the 2016 Mazda CX-9. Unveiled at last year's Los Angeles Auto Show, the new CUV wears the brand's stylish Kodo design language, and houses Mazda's first-ever 2.5-liter turbo engine.

We've been waiting to see the 2017 Mazda CX-9 for quite some time now. With the exception of the Mazda5, it's the only model in the brand's retinue that hasn't gotten its upgrade to the automaker's KODO Design Language, and it was well worth the wait. The gen-two niner looks so fly, it might require FAA certification.
