Today, Mazda Motor Corporation issued a press release announcing that it recently produced its one-millionth MX-5 on April 22, 2016, twenty-seven years after mass production began at Ujina Plant No. 1 in Hiroshima.

As a way of thanking fans and owners, the one-millionth model will be on display at fan events in Japan and around the world. The tour starts at the Hiroshima Flower Festival on May 3...
